About Guild Membership

Becoming a Member or Renewing Your Membership

Membership in the Colorado Woodworkers Guild is simple. We accept all people who have an interest in woodworking. All you need is an enthusiastic interest in woodworking!  Membership includes the whole family. Follow the instructions below to apply for membership. There is a members only area of this website that is only accessible to paid members, once you join you will be provided with login information.

Become a Member

Click here to complete a new membership application and following the on screen instructions.  Your membership will not be activated until you have verified your email address, and have paid your first year's dues.  Instructions will be sent via email.

Applications received after September 30 include membership for the following year.

Annual Dues:

       Individual - $35

Family Membership - $40 - member + partner, minor child or grandchild.

Student - full time - $10

Joint Membership - $57.50  (We are happy to offer a joint membership between the Colorado Woodworkers Guild and the Front Range Woodturners. Join both clubs for a reduced cost!            

Renew Your Membership

If you are already a member and wish to renew your membership, there is no need to fill out a form. Just  pay your dues - $35 to renew your membership in the Guild, or $57.50 if you wish to join both The Guild and the Front Range Woodturners as well - using any of the following methods:

Benefits of Guild Membership 

Belonging to Colorado Woodworkers Guild brings many benefits to its members, which include:

  • Monthly Meetings: Meeting with other woodworkers to network, share information and learn from the excellent programs
  • Library: The Guild has a growing library of Books, Videos and Magazines that are available for members to check out.
  • Field Trips: Attending the occasional trip to visit lumber yards, mills and shops.
  • Monthly Newsletter: Receiving the newsletter with its meeting announcements, feature articles, photographs, classified ads, and other news.
  • CWG Website: Accessing the “member only” portion of the CWG website enables members to network with their fellow members, browse the library and access a Download area that includes past newsletters, Patterns and Plans, eBooks and other items.
  • Member Discounts: Members qualify for a variety of discounts offered by Guild Sponsors.
  • Commissions: Members have access to announcements about the availability of commissions for custom woodwork.
  • Shows & Exhibits: Members are able to exhibit their work in various shows and exhibits during the year.
  • Community Service: Members are able to participate in a variety of community service opportunities.
  • Instruction: Members can take advantage of a variety of instructional opportunities for no or very low fees.
  • Camaraderie: Members can enjoy the company of a diverse group of people with many of the same interests.
